Central Park & The State of Liberty

Its our second to last day… I have really fallen in love with the city! I hope I get to come back real soon!

We didn’t have to much planned today so we didn’t have to set an alarm we just got to wake up… it was nice as most days we were being woke by that damn alarm!

Once we woke up we started to walk towards Time Square… but of course not before getting coffee the size of my head! after walking for about 25 minutes I was getting hungry and grumpy, i need food…. apparently I’m not a nice person when I’m hungry. We past this amazing bagel place, the line was out the door. I ordered a cream cheese and onion bagel… oh my goodness it was amazing!! I wish I could remember the name of it, all I remember is that is was on 4th Ave.

Any way after stuffing our face we headed to Central Park, it was so nice to just walk and breath in all the fresh air… its amazing to think this beautiful park is sitting inside one of the biggest cities in the world. I really could have spent all day here…

Ok so its 2pm and we need to be down by the wharf by 3pm so we thought that we better get a cab! Getting on a boat to go down the river and to see the stunning Statue of Liberty.

It was a really good tour, we learnt a lot about the city. Once we finished the tour we cabbed it back to our apartment to have a shower, get changed and head out for our last dinner, did a little googling and came across this really cool restaurant called Jekell & Hyde! So a fun place to go for dinner!
