Talk about a dream wedding! bride & groom, in the front yard of their home with only 15 guests! I have to say this was one of the coolest weddings I have got to be a part of.
Laura reached out to me via social media to ask if I was able to photograph their wedding that was going to be held in April 2018. We set up a meeting a few weeks before the big day so I could come to see the house, where the ceremony was going to be held. Plus to see if we were going to mesh well together and do a quick run through of the day. I fell in love with these guys as soon as met then. So chilled out, happy go lucky! I knew I had hit the jackpot when I met these guys.
It was such a beautiful day, Laura rocking with her dad in an uber & she had picked up a bunch of flowers on the way. The ceremony was short and sweet with family closely gathered around to watch them exchange vows & rings. Once everyone had congratulated them we took a few family snaps while eating cheese and drinking champagne. Then it was time for me to hang out with just Will & Laura, we walked around the back of the house & picked a few cool spots to take photos, we chatted about life, I, of course, cracked some cool jokes, we were all laughing and enjoying the food everyone brought us. Just as the sun we setting we walked about to join the rest of the guest, a few snaps and then just like that I said my thank you’s, congrats and head home just before Will & Laura headed out into the city for dinner.
The thing that I loved about this wedding is that they did it their way, not by the book or what their family or friends wanted. Did it in there own time & their own style and to me to me that means so much more than having 200 guests in a massive church and doing all the vanilla, 9-5 style wedding. Stay True!
